The short version
Teleport Bread collects no user data. The app has no accounts, analytics, or tracking. Your reminders stay with Apple.
How the app works
Teleport Bread is a user interface layer over Apple Reminders. Your needs, notes, and due dates are stored by Apple's Reminders service (EventKit) on your device and in your iCloud account, under Apple's privacy terms. The app reads and writes that data locally, only after you grant Reminders access, and sends it nowhere else. We never see it.
What we don't do
- No data collection, telemetry, or analytics inside the app
- No advertising or analytics SDKs inside the app
- No accounts, sign-ups, or profiles
- No selling or sharing of data — we have nothing to sell or share
Version and update checks
At launch and about once a day, the app fetches a small version file from teleportbread.com to learn whether an update is required. No identifiers or reminder data are sent. The direct-download Mac app also asks for updates through Sparkle on the same schedule unless you turn automatic checks off in Settings.
TestFlight betas
If you join a beta through TestFlight, Apple may share crash logs and feedback you choose to submit with us, as described in Apple's TestFlight terms.
